Each design is directly influenced by an image that speaks to our love of photography and appreciation for nature. From these images we recreate them into unique pieces of art, tangible reminders for us to capture these moments wherever we go.
WITH A MISSION TO CREATE A BRAND THAT DOES GOOD. COASTAL CANOPY'S GOAL IS TO CREATE GARMENTS THAT REFLECT THE CREATIVITY, DIVERSITY, AND BEAUTY OF BOTH PEOPLE AND PLACES AROUND THE WORLD.
We want to one day be timeless in the way that a photograph is timeless and for our clothing to be something that people will always love and cherish.

We want to keep the arts in every child's life as much as possible. That's why every quarter we will purchase and send supplies nationally and internationally to help support kids art programs. Allowing them to be themselves creatively, and follow their artistic dreams. Your purchase helps us provide art & supplies to underprivileged children throughout the world.
Our Story
Where It All Began.
Born and raised Michiganders; Shianne and Seiarra Schrum took their first trip to Michigan’s Upper Peninsula. This spontaneous trip inspired by captured stills from various photographers peaked our interest to go and see the beauty for ourselves.
After seeing what we could have missed without these photographers, we began to understand how one picture can motivate others to embrace the world around you. As most say, “a picture is worth a thousand words.” On the other hand, for designers (like Seiarra and Shianne) the photos paired with traveling gave our creative instincts a boost.
With a mission to design unique clothing inspired from the world around us, captured by the eye of a lens; the idea of Coastal Canopy Co. started to form. We took our appreciation for photography, passion for design, and love for travel, and melded them together. This created impactful pieces that will excite others to do the same, while seeking to constantly empower others not to give up their dreams of art and design.
We aim to spread our creativity across the world with each design, because life is an adventure that should be lived in comfort and style.
We want everyone to continue their journey, and to inspire others to do so whether that be visiting a new city for the first time or seeing the world! Our goal is that every shirt we create will have a story behind it.
